Residents must be 18 or older and have a minimum of 72 hours abstinence from illicit drugs and alcohol. Our pre-admission process includes a health screening, review of current medications and substance abuse history. To participate in our programs, residents agree to abide by our simple rules.

Residents must have someone drive them to High Watch. Transportation from train or bus can be arranged through High Watch.Upon admission, a member of the nursing staff meets with the resident to identify any medical issues of an emergency nature that need immediate attention upon admission. Each resident is assigned a personal therapist for the length of their stay. In addition, all residents receive a complete physical and psychiatric evaluation for potential psychiatric and medical disorders.

We are a non-profit organization and do not take insurance. This enables us to keep all treatment and medical records private while providing our residents affordable care designed for their individual needs. Our day rate is $250 a day. This includes room, board, medical diagnosis and treatment. The cost of any prescribed medication is not included.

Residents entering Residential Acute Care treatment are required to pay upon admission $6,125 for a minimum three week stay. This includes the $250 day rate along with a $75 fee for a required physical and an $800 deposit held in a refundable escrow.

A limited number of beds may be available for residents staying longer than 90 days. Contact Admissions for information on availability.

If space is available, recent High Watch Residents may return for our aftercare program 30 days after discharge at the $250. day rate for a minimum 2 day stay. If not a High Watch Alum, a six month abstinence is required for admission.
